Learn to write specs.
Eight live sessions with a practising Technical BA, for analysts who want engineers to build from their requirements the first time. Dates and price come later.
- 8 live sessions
- One artifact from each
- Private cohorts for teams
What we hired for
“The ones we hired asked what happens when things go wrong, before we did.”
Eight sessions, eight artifacts
Every session ends with something you keep. Sessions three to seven run on one scenario, so the pieces fit together.
The requirement that came back
Find every way an ambiguous requirement can be read, and the questions that close it.
Your toolkit, working
Postman, an OpenAPI spec, a diagramming tool, SQL and a board, set up on your own machine.
Reading an API contract
Find what a spec you didn't write is missing, and ask its owner for it.
System context and data flow
Who owns the data, who copies it, and enough SQL to check.
Process modelling in BPMN
A process with a third-party call in the middle, failure branches included.
Acceptance criteria and edge cases
One work item, specified properly: timeouts, retries, permissions, empty states.
The review
Your work reviewed out loud, the way a lead BA reviews a team's. Then you fix it.
Exam and portfolio review
A written exam, then a one-to-one walk through everything you built.

Aligned to IIBA, BABOK and Scrum. Not accredited by them.

Founder · Technical BA and Product Owner
Who teaches it
A practising Technical BA, not a full-time trainer. The material comes from his own work inside banks, a UN climate programme and a music-rights system migration.
He ran the technical interviews Raiffeisen Bank Romania used to hire its own Technical BAs, and he still works as one.
